Taco Bell fires employee shown with hand down his pants

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WTVG) - Taco Bell has fired an employee after a photo went viral on social media.

It happened at the restaurant just off 250 in Sandusky.

The picture appears to show an employee standing in a kitchen area with his left hand down his pants.

The Erie County Health Department received a complaint about the pictures on Monday, and employees went to investigate.

Taco Bell released this statement to 13abc:

"This is completely unacceptable. Our franchisee took immediate action and has terminated the employee and retrained the entire staff. We want customers to know that the person in the photo was never in contact with the food, and that the Health Department inspected the restaurant and approved its operations."
