The Colorado Springs Police Department confirms four officers and an unknown number of civilians have been shot at the planned parenthood at Fillmore and Centennial.
Police say the shooter is contained to a specific area, but he has not been detained and this remains a dangerous, active shooter situation.
Centennial Blvd. is closed in both directions from Garden of the Gods to Fillmore.
The King Soopers shopping center at Fillmore and Centennial is on shelter in place.
Police say the area is not secure, and are asking for people to avoid the area.
