Texas Attorney General who Called Marriage Equality Lawless Faces Felony Fraud Charges
— July 3, 2015Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is facing felony charges after a securities investigation has found evidence of criminal fraud well in excess of $100,000. Paxton is the same Attorney General who blasted the U.S. Supreme Court as a lawless court for it upholding marriage equality. If convicted, Paxton stands to serve up to 99 years in state prison, and a $10,000 fine.
