Obama's War on Leaks Faces Backlash in Court: “The Government’s Insistence that Whistleblowing and Accountability Equate to Spying is Coming Under Increasing Scrutiny, Even Mockery.” [The Intercept]

Every election cycle I vote for change, increased accountability, and transparency. Every election cycle I seem to be disappointed all the same. I don't know what it will take to create lasting change, but right now, I don't like the direction this country is in. A government managed by secrets and near inexistent levels of transparency is not a free, open, and representative government.

I am still optimistic that we can find that change and a nominee who will truly represent the people. But that optimism grows smaller and smaller each year.
